Marcum Search Looking for Full stack PHP/Open source developer at Hicksville, NY(remote) Full Time

Marcum Search LLC is working with an established, fast-growing and agile promotional products company that has an opening for a self-motivated, talented, Full-Stack Web Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience. This position will be hybrid, with onsite work in in Ronkonkoma,NY once a week after being established in the role.

Responsibilities

• The developer will review requirements and produce design documents along with working solutions for various small- and large-scale in-house projects. These projects include internal applications, customer facing web applications and integrations with customer/vendor systems.
• The developer will work with the IT systems group to support, maintain and enhance both new and existing systems utilizing the technologies listed above.
• Coordinate with IT systems group and executives to ensure timely completion of projects.

Skills Needed

• PHP, Linux, NGINX, Apache, MSSQL, mySQL
• Seasoned in one or more MVC frameworks. (CodeIgniter, Kohana, CakePHP, Zend)
• jQuery, Bootstrap, front end and backend javascript, responsive design
• REST and SOAP endpoints / listeners for various standard and proprietary APIs provided by Office365, Google, AWS S3, UPS, FedEx, customers, and vendors.
• Magento eCommerce, WooCommerce and other shopping eCommerce platforms.
• PCI compliance.
• Experience with Agile development, scrum, and version control.

Useful but not required

• Familiar with windows server platforms – Office365, Active Directory, Sharepoint, Teams
• .NET programming experience (ASP, C++, or VB)
