The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED
Up to 1 year healthcare experience
Customer service oriented and comfortable in a fast paced, active position
Job Description:
- Responsible for providing services to support patient care by transporting patients safely to and from treatment units within the Medical Center complex.
- Serve as a vital contact for patients, family, and visitors during patient transportation while looking to exceed their expectations with each interaction.
- Responsible for assessing needs of customers related to transportation, and ensuring the customer’s needs are met.
- Work independently and apply sound judgment to asses and prioritize transportation requests using Voicera paging system.
