Job Summary:

The Patient Care Monitor Technician works in collaboration with the medical-surgical inpatient nursing teams to care for patients requiring cardiac/ telemetry monitoring. The patient care monitor technician will monitor patients’ heart rates and rhythms for any deviations from normal and will notify appropriate staff as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Will be required to complete an arrhythmia recognition class and attend
mandatory updates as required.
- 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Must demonstrate basic computer skills.
- Must be proficient in medical terminology.
**$500 sign-on bonus available for eligible positions**
Job Description:
Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors. Identifies significant arrhythmias and changes in rhythmand intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
Reports abnormal telemetry findings or changes to nursing staff using appropriate systems.
We currently have part-time day positions available!
