This job is located at Lovelace Women’s Hospital, the first and only hospital in New Mexico dedicated to women’s health, offers a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a natural birthing center, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Job Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy.
• Performs general nursing tasks.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Education and Experience Job Requirements:

• Graduate from a practical nursing program
• One (1) year experience desired
• Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• Current BLS
• Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
