Looking for Tax Preparer & Bookkeeper at Remote Full Time

The Position

We are looking for a tax preparer with at least 3 years of experience in business and individual tax preparation. Applicants must also be proficient in QuickBooks and have a solid understanding of accounting principles. An accounting degree is preferred but not required. The candidate will prepare Personal, Corporate, Partnership and Fiduciary tax returns. The candidate will maintain the books for businesses and individuals, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, prepare financial statements, prepare payroll tax reports, W-2s, 1099s, and sales tax reports.

Qualifications

• Detailed-oriented, able to multi-task, be self-motivated, accurate and conscientious. Focused and
• diligent and able to complete tasks successfully and on time
• Proficient in tax preparation software. UltraTax experience preferred.
• Proficient with QuickBooks. Certified Pro Advisor preferred
• Good understanding of general accounting principles
• Tax Preparation: 3 years (Required)
• Accounting: 5 years (Required)
• Prefer three or more years of experience in tax preparation at a CPA firm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
