Senior Account Manager

LMD–A Change Agency, a growing, fast-paced, full-service branding, marketing, and communications firm in the Baltimore-Washington corridor seeks a talented, highly organized Senior Account Manager to join its award-winning team.

The Senior Account Manager will provide project management excellence with proven relationship management experience to monitor our clients’ needs and ensure they receive products and services on time. This role requires a strategic mindset as well as interpersonal communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contributes to account planning, development, and implementation of strategic and project plans, manages key projects/initiatives, and contributes to the development of operating procedures.

• Serves as a respected agency liaison and one of the main points of contact at the agency for the client, vendors, and subcontractors related to account concerns and contractual matters. Works with clients to uncover business needs and objectives. The senior account manager will also develop an understanding of the client’s business and will work to generate new ideas to enhance client performance.

• Assists with account financial performance and financial management including maintaining accurate client records; keeping track of any contract updates and renewals; and generating reports for clients.
• Works cross-functionally within the company and with any vendors to communicate client needs. Meets regularly with other team members and functional areas/workstreams to discuss progress and find new ways to improve client offerings. Assist with the management of resources.
• Track account progress and opportunities to ensure services provided are within their budget and meet their needs.
• Prepare presentation materials and deliver briefings.
• Work with other internal teams to plan and oversee development of client deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to provide effective support to client initiatives.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks, follow through to completion, and ensure clients receive the correct advice and support.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills. Strong initiative in mentoring Account Services team members.
• Ability to work independently, delegating and providing oversight where needed and following through to completion.
• Ability to explain projects clearly and concisely to team members and clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking to a large audience.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe products and Google Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Asana or other project management tools
• Aptitude for learning new communication or project management platforms as needed.
• Innovative problem-solving skills to help resolve customer issues or needs.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients.

Education & Experience:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• B.S. or B.A. in business, communications, advertising, marketing, or related fields.
• 6+ experience managing projects.
• Proven track record of receiving positive customer feedback.
• Professional project management certification is a plus.

Job Location: This position is currently remote; however, in-person meetings may be required in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas. Ideal candidate would reside in the DMV.

Salary: $70,000 -$90,000 based on experience.
