We are seeking an experienced part-time medical biller for our busy pediatric primary care practice in Decatur Read about the position below and apply to join our outstanding team.
Salary $18 – $22/hour commensurate with experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 2 years of pediatric medical billing experience.
Must have 1 year of Georgia Medicaid denials and appeals experience.
MCD/CMO required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review current claims. Analyze records to code all appropriate ICD-10 and CPT coding for billing of insurance carriers.
Review medical record documentation to identify all services provided by physicians.
Research coding issues, review classification situations to determine the most appropriate codes.
Enter/correct patient demographics.
Experience:
Medical Billers: 1 years (Required)
Georgia Medicaid: 1 year (Required)
Kids Health First: We are an Association of 37 Pediatric Practices in the Atlanta area, looking for an experienced biller/coder to work onsite at our community pediatric offices. Our Association will review resumes and conduct the initial candidate screening. Our goal is to make available to our practices, a pool of qualified candidates for their consideration. Interviews and final decisions are made by the pediatric practices, based on their current individual needs and hiring processes. Salary and benefits are determined by individual practices.
