MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
Certification(s) required: Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA) and/or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
· Utilizing spreadsheets, database, and other actuarial software-related technologies, including GGY AXIS, SAS, R, MAPS, Python, VBA and/or SQL programming languages;
· Implementing modeling, valuation, and tax reserving reviews; and,
· Preparing a record of work that provides a clear understanding of Audit procedures, including GAAP and STAT principles.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Domestic and/or international travel up to 20%.
