The Controller position is primarily responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including procurement, accounts payable, fixed assets, accounts receivables, cash management, month-end close, deferred revenue, reconciliations, general ledger, financial consolidation, reporting, taxation, and relations with auditors.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Currently supervises four employees in the Accounting Department. The company is growing and more staff including offshore resources are expected to be added in the future. Responsibilities include assessing current team structure, identifying gaps or weaknesses then interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
