The Centralized Vehicle Appraiser is responsible for reviewing electronic trade/sell submissions from customers and providing a swift and accurate purchase offer. Appraisers negotiate pricing, understand vehicle condition, the subsequent costs involved in reconditioning, and make financially sound purchasing decisions for the company.

The Centralized Vehicle Appraiser reports to the Vehicle Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for acquiring used-car inventory through, direct contacts, generated leads, and internet inquiries from customers
• Appraise vehicles, understand vehicle condition, negotiate price, make financially sound purchasing decisions, and ensures timely processing of all leads
• Responsible for understanding retail trends and participating in the inventory planning process
• Requires working in a fast-paced team environment, being effective as a self-starter and working individually as needs dictate
• Understand market tendencies and the changes to the trends in all geographic areas
• Effectively utilize lead management tools

• Strong attention to detail

• Experience in procuring quality vehicles that meet company’s standards
• 3 years’ experience in virtual vehicle appraising
• Efficient in Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay: $58,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year
