LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Payroll Tax Consultant for the corporate office located in Oakland, CA. This position is 100% remote! The ideal candidate will be senior payroll professional who is comfortable filing payroll taxes and has experience setting up state taxes. The role will be responsible for auditing a series of payroll taxes, review and reconciliation of out of state taxes, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications for the job include:
- Strong Payroll Accounting experience (Payroll Tax)
- Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credits and tax rules and responsibilities
- Software experience with a variety of payroll software applications
- Team player, able to work independently, and proactive
- Reliable, dedicated, and project oriented
- Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized
- Strong communications both written and verbal
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
Experience: 7 or more years of experience in Payroll (Payroll Consultant, Payroll Tax Analyst)
Employment Type: Temporary (3 Months)
