The Spirit of the Position:
The VALET Lead oversees the Valet operation, under the direction of the location Manager to ensure the staff create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. Valet Lead will support the operation policies and procedures.
Principal Job Duties:
Education:
– High school diploma or GED required.
– Ability to produce and maintain an acceptable driving record and unrestricted drivers’ license.
Experience:
-Strong customer service experience.
-Parking operations and/or parking industry experience.
Skills:
– Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
– Ability to develop a positive rapport with patrons and customers.
– Ability to understand and implement operational plans and procedures
– Ability to develop a positive rapport with patrons and customers.
– Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
– Open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view
– Capable of taking direction from company manager responsible for shift or other shift valets/team members as necessary to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
– Capable of working alone on a shift or with one or more other valets.
– Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
– Demonstrates the ability to seek improvement.
– Ability to drive a standard transmission, as well as general knowledge of how to operate various types of motor vehicles.
Physical Demands:
– Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
– Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
– Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
– Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
