Job Summary: Under the Shift Supervisor’s guidance, this role ensures efficient setup of injection molding machines, aiming for high-quality production, reduced downtime, and minimized waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Set up machinery with approved molding process programs, following setup guidelines.
Support Process Engineer in process development.
Propose process and tool improvements for increased efficiency.
Configure robots and auxiliary equipment.
Document work orders in SAP.
Maintain cleanliness and condition of equipment.
Assist in die-setting station organization.
Collaborate with the team to meet production and shipping needs.
Work overtime as required.
Halt production for nonconforming materials and troubleshoot.
Contribute to safety, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Knowledge of plastic injection molding, assembly, and tooling.
Experience with hygroscopic and non-hygroscopic resins.
Familiarity with RJG eDART System; Master Molder® I & II certification a plus.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
ERP and MES Systems experience.
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
Physical agility for standing, bending, lifting, and walking on a cement floor.
