Position Summary
Create an outstanding customer experience and inspire associates to deliver excellent customer service. Establish and maintain a safe, clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department, control all established quality assurance standards and expenses and properly schedule and staff technicians to meet the needs of the business. Monitor all functions, duties and activities for the department. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions

• Accurately fulfill customer prescription needs and administer vaccines while providing patient counseling
• Ensure pharmacies adhere to all local, state, and federal laws (including HIPAA)
• Maintain a professional image in personal conduct and physical condition of the pharmacy
• Monitor key operational aspects such as inventory management, record-keeping, security, and sanitation
• Maintain and handle scheduled drugs records, inventory, and security as per the law
• Use accuracy tools like the scanner and post-dispensing audit report effectively for high precision
• Maintain all essential equipment and promote their efficient usage by the staff
• Strive for continuous personal and professional growth in pharmacy knowledge and skills.

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
• Effective oral/written communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Ability to handle stressful situations

Desired Previous Experience/Education

• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
