Teaching In-person Classes

Teaching Period:

Two hours on each Tuesday during the 2022-23 school year in after-school hours

4 pm – 5 pm: English Class for Grade 4 and 5 students

5:10 pm – 6:10 pm: English Class for Grade 2 and 3 students

Job Summary

A Learning Center is seeking an Elementary or Middle School English teacher to teach English classes for Grade 2 to 5 students in two small groups on Tuesdays in after school program.

Responsibilities and Duties

To teach 2nd – 5th Grade students English classes in small groups (10 – 12 students per group) in our 2022 – 2023 school year after-school program with the opportunity to obtain a long-term part-time teaching position in our learning center.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will be:

– Current or past Elementary or Middle School English Teacher.

– Familiar with English Class curriculum for students in 2nd – 5th grades.

– Responsible and a great team player.

– Passionate about teaching

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years teaching English in public or private elementary or middle school

Education:

• Bachelor’s in English or related field.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
