We are seeking a Digital Ad Ops Analyst to join our busy and friendly team. The Digital Ad Ops Analyst is responsible for the implementation and management of digital media campaigns, including project timelines, gathering of assets, traffic instructions, creation and deployment of ad serving tags.
Kiosk offers flexible working, with the option to work fully remote (based from within the US), or to work a hybrid schedule from our office in Novato, CA. This is a full-time position.
What you will do:
- Develop team members’ skills within Google Marketing Platform when onboarded to the department
- Maintain a high quality standard for the media department by leading the QA process to ensure 100% accuracy and to exceed client expectations, while still trafficking when needed
- Create and execute tracking strategies for media campaigns with defined goals and KPIs
- Implementing and validating pixels and tags for tracking conversions
- Adding pixels and tags to web pages when needed in a timely fashion via Google Tag Manager
- Monitor campaign delivery to ensure campaigns are running as expected and targeting objectives are met, including checking daily reports and providing troubleshooting support for trafficking issues related to creative, publisher implementation, and escalating to third party vendors when necessary
- Work with data teams to QA and ensure accurate data transfer to data warehouse
- Lead the continual assessment of the web technology landscape, and lead in testing of different products – including ad delivery, ad verification and single-view tracking and measurement
- Lead and activate daily processes
- Help assist to resolve technical issues involved in running online ad campaigns (including trafficking ad tags)
- Work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure that appropriate materials are received and/or distributed correctly
- Work closely with internal media departments to assist with regular reporting intervals and larger reports such as Quarterly Business Reviews
- Own the quality and accuracy of measurement for all media campaigns
- Help develop a tagging and tracking strategy to achieve client goals and help with internal optimizations
- Set up private deals (both PMPs and programmatic guaranteed) within in-house DSPs
- Onboard new audiences through third party data providers
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to ad serving, placements, tagging, measurement, and delivery
- Help define better processes and systems for operations, including creating documentation of processes
What you will need (Skills and Requirements):
- Hands-on knowledge of ad serving systems and advertising tracking technologies, especially Google Campaign Manager 360
- Hands-on experience with and technical capabilities of event tagging and attribution, including with platforms such as Google Tag Manager
- Knowledge of brand safety and verification vendors (i.e. DoubleVerify, IAS)
- Knowledge of Google Analytics setup and reporting
- Understanding of data processing, ETL, data warehousing, SQL
- Experience configuring private programmatic deals (PMPs)
- Understanding of the ad tech ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, data brokers, attribution vendors, etc.)
- A strong work ethic; able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver results
- Well-developed organizational and project management skills, to ensure you can keep on top of your own and others workload
- Superb attention to detail and a passion for managing the quality & accuracy of analytics, including checking your and others’ work
- Fine-tuned communication, presentation and influencing skills, with an ability to think creatively and present in a manner that inspires and excites
- Technical skills would be a distinct advantage, including HTML, & JavaScript, etc.
