PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInstall and configure computer hardware and software for MS Windows, Mac, Chrome and similar devicesMonitoring and maintaining computer systems and networksLead research on technology and products, projects, involving campus, groups, or departments.Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve systems, hardware and software issuesTroubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faultsResearch, recommend and pilot best practices improving overall efficiency. Replacing parts as requiredProviding support, including procedural documentation and relevant reportsFollowing diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a systemSupporting the roll-out of new applicationsSetting up new users’ accounts and profilesAssist teachers/students in academic success as well as measuring and tracking resultsMaintain all campus technology on campusCommunicate professionally and courteously with students, faculty, facility and staff membersParticipate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings and special events as assignedOrder warranty replacement parts, provide supervisor data involved with this processPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
