Job Description
This is your opportunity to join the team in the Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC), providing process and production services in an Assembly and Fabrication area. Here you will enjoy ongoing development and training with opportunities to broaden your skills base.
- Evaluates and determines approaches to Hermetics manufacturing technical assignments
- Solves complex technical problems in the Hermetics assembly shop
- Technical resource to Hermetics operators including training and troubleshooting help
- Troubleshoot belt furnace and quality issues in conjunction with production engineering & maintenance teams
- Perform Hermetics operator duties as required
- Prepare lower-level parts for the Hermetics assembly processes
- Prepare andload componentsinto the appropriate belt furnaces
- Initiate and monitor the Hermetics processes
- Inspect parts for defects once assembly is complete
- Be prepared to work overtime as business conditions require. Compensation for overtime worked will be in accordance with Colorado state law and company policy.
- Travel to Santa Rosa, CA for training purposes may be required.
Job Qualifications
Keysight is looking for a highly motivated individual. Candidates must have the ability to function with a high level of responsibility, use of good judgment and understand the impact of your decisions as well as train others in specialized and complex practices.
- Must have the willingness to learn, strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication and job flexibility are a must.
- Must have demonstrated the comprehension to follow processing instructions, both formal and informal, and the ability to learn and retain instructions/information given.
- Proven success in a precision assembly, polishing and or grinding, electrical test, and/or deburring operation to over-deliver on customer needs
- Must be able to handle small parts and work under microscope with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to read prints and comprehend GD&T methodology.
- Demonstration of excellent communication (verbal and written) and teamwork skills, enabling effective interaction with co-workers, engineers, maintenance technicians and management team.
- You must be able and willing to work in a chemical process environment and be comfortable working safely with chemicals
- At least 4years’ experience in critical cosmetic inspection and handling of delicate and/or small parts demonstrating rapid skill development and progressively increased proficiency.
- Proven success in pushing SOP practices andtraining others efficiently within their respective field of expertise.
- Experience with belt or soldering furnaces a plus.

Colorado Pay Range:$27.22-45.36 per hour
Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
