The Adobe Restaurant is owned and operated by JDM Golf and serves breakfast, lunch and evening cocktails and snacks. We are located next to the Pro Shop at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. Scope and Purpose:
The Server is an enthusiastic member of the team who is attentive to customers needs and ensures they feel welcome, comfortable and important.
Essential Functions:

• Prepares tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure condiments are refilled, and performing all other preparation tasks.
• Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
• Maintaining a proper dining experience by taking orders, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks.
• Accepting payments (member guest charges, cash, checks and credit cards) and issuing receipts.
• Work at banquet events and provide outstanding service to all banquet attendees.
• Work as a team player and offer assistance to co-workers whenever possible.
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Comply with all JDM and Adobe policies and procedures in all circumstances.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective listening and personable interaction with patrons, Line Cooks, Bussers, Chef and other co-workers.
• Ability to work in a high-pace and hot kitchen environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain exceptional service for patrons.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of food handling regulations.
• Knowledge of cooking procedures, kitchen equipment and safety rules for kitchen equipment.
• Ability and willingness to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements:
Constant standing, reaching, grasping, walking, seeing, hearing, talking and smelling. Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
The work environment is typical of a restaurant with a bar area and with an outside patio seating area. When serving outdoors, the temperature and weather conditions of the work area are affected by outside conditions. The indoor restaurant and bar area is heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. When in the kitchen, conditions are hot and fast-paced.
Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent certificate preferred but not required.
• Two years previous server experience preferred.
• Experience working at banquet events helpful but will train the right person.
• Must have a current Food Handlers Card.
• Title 4 Liquor Certification. Must be aged 19 to serve liquor.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and varying schedules determined by business needs.
• Valid Arizona Drivers License.
