The Director of North America Digital Customer Engagement will lead the Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ North America omnichannel strategy and direct the region’s digital transformation activities and initiatives relating to the Future of Customer Engagement. This leaders main responsibility is to lead our business in its continuous pursuit of impactful customer experience that provides value to our diverse customers and stakeholders and for our business.
This leader will need skills to influence at every level, imparting customer experience & digital knowledge and skills in a constructive, empowering, and collaborative way. This role is a key member of project teams, responsible for evaluation and implementation of omnichannel platforms and digital customer experience.
Essential Job Functions:
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
•   Leading a team of 3 individuals, working with Marketing leaders and cross-functional teams to build personal and nonpersonal Omnichannel capabilities that bring the customer deeper into our thinking and our actions and inform insight-led customer-focused strategiesÂ
•   Develop progressive, personalized omnichannel strategies per persona and phase of the customer journey journey, that are powered by advanced research and customer engagement technologies (Veeva, Salesforce, etc.)
•   Inform customer-focused omnichannel strategies connecting CX practices and methodologies with advanced data & analytics, Agile practices, digital marketing, content strategy, and marketing technologies
•   Bring together connected capabilities around the needs of the customer (Commercial, IT, data & analytics, Legal & Compliance, Learning & Development etc..) to identify and help test innovative value propositions to solve customer problems
•   Gather, analyze information, formulate and test use cases and assumptions and work closely with market teams to create an environment for continuous experimentation and learning
•   Define governance process and metrics to conduct and evaluate marketing experimentation efforts and integrate learnings across Marketing
Minimum Requirements:
•   Bachelors, Masters or advanced degree in a business discipline, with a minimum of 7-10 years of increasingly responsible marketing, sales and/or digital experience in the biopharmaceutical industryÂ
•   Demonstrated ability to create a shared vision, inspire collaboration across marketing, sales, and IT/IS functions to drive change with impact
•   Experienced in navigating ambiguity and change with an entrepreneurial mindsetÂ
•   Proven track record of leading successful customer experience & digital transformation projects
•   Demonstrated leadership success in management, including building and/or leading a team or department
•   Applied agency experience a plus
•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•   Set clear priorities to meet timelines, to motivate others, and to manage budgets
•   Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving and strategic abilitiesÂ
•   Some travel required (10-20%)
