The IRC’s External Relations team comprises colleagues and teams delivering marketing, fundraising, brand stewardship and communications to support this work. As part of External Relations, the Mass Markets USA (MMUSA) program is responsible for raising $70+ million in unrestricted revenue annually in the U.S. market and plays a meaningful strategic role in the creation of IRC’s brand, awareness, and support for its advocacy goals.
MMUSA is seeking a Manager, Donor Retention Marketing – US-Based Programs, to retain donors who support the IRC’s work to resettle refugees in the United States. Working with our network of local and regional offices, this position will thoughtfully integrate our domestic and international work to inspire meaningful giving in support of IRC’s global mission.
Job Overview:
We seek an experienced, highly collaborative marketer who cares deeply about humanitarian causes. As a key member of the Mass Markets USA team, you will coordinate, conceptualize, and produce communications designed to raise revenue to support the organization’s domestic and international programs. The focus of this position will be on partnering with IRC’s 28 domestic (U.S.-based) resettlement offices to produce and deliver integrated email, direct mail, and other communications that inspire donors and encourage giving. This position will be responsible for developing coherent donor journeys for supporters located near a resettlement office, including uplifting local engagement opportunities and championing IRC’s on-the-ground domestic work with IRC supporters.

Working Environment:
This role is remote full-time with East Coast hours and eligible for U.S. residents only. Applicants must have a home or alternate workspace from which they can effectively complete their work from during regularly scheduled hours. Some travel (e.g., once every 2-3 months) is required to meet with resettlement offices periodically, and to meet at off-site retreats and other meetings.
