Japanese Adhesive/Sealants/Coating Manufacturer seeks Equipment Engineer in our HQ, Cincinnati Office.
Salary range: 55K(Entry Level)~ 70K (Experienced)
Skills: Previous Sales Exp., in the Auto related Industry or Electric Industry are ideal
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
2-3 years experience within the engineering field
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to provide technical documentation
Technically inclined with robotics, electrical, and/or controls experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface at all personnel levels, both written and verbal.
Excellent presentation skills to provide customers guidance and training on dispensing equipment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to choose priorities as required
Machine Integration, Robot teaching, PLC programming skills/experience highly desired.
Previous Experience
Interfacing with sales/account manager for issuing quotes, conducting training, and providing equipment technical service.
Completing all necessary documentation with the primary responsibility to support the customer ’s requirements.
Managing all aspects of projects from initial project planning to close out/sign off while ensuring customer specifications are met.
Job Duties:
Develop new projects / themes / business
Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommends corrective action
Follow up on multiple customer inquiries and provide trouble shooting skills as needed
Responsible for providing superior technical support in person and over the phone to high profile customers
Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operation.
Create and maintain customer equipment layout / plans / drawings
Work with machine/system integrators to develop adhesive dispensing solutions that meet or exceed the needs
of our customer.
Assist Project Engineers, electricians, and customers with debugging and machine runoffs. Support projects
in the field, and as needed during start-up and production
Manage production cost of equipment
Follow market trends
Create engineering reports
Setup and Manage equipment and robotic demonstrations / provide training for sales team and customers
Research new technology
