The Design Engineering Group (DEG) Business HR team is seeking an HR Manager to be a strategic business partner to provide Business HR solutions in a dynamic Engineering organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a proactive, solution-oriented HR leader focused on driving value to the business. The HR Manager will be a collaborative team member who will help create a culture of agility and creative solutions, who has a strong ability to manage ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.
The HRM candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of HR functional areas, business acumen, and have the ability to identify the root-cause of opportunities in order to create and/or apply strategies in support of the organization. The candidate will cultivate stakeholder relationships and implement solutions that address demonstrated business needs both proactively and reactively. Works closely with the business unit leadership team to drive employee engagement and retention.
Key Accountabilities:
Build business leader relationships for service, influencing, and coaching.
Build partnerships with and leverage Centers of Excellence (CoEs) account teams to deliver specific HR Solutions.
Apply general employee relations, organization development, talent management, learning, Diversity and Inclusion, data analysis, and HR processes in the business group as needed.
Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs in service of employees/managers and the business, understanding of Legal partnerships and requirements locally and nationally.

Leadership: Proven leadership skills to coach, mentor, and advise where appropriate to help leaders grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals. Must be able to lead in difficult and ambiguous situations. A high level of personal awareness, openness to feedback, and willingness to improve is critical.
Business Acumen and Consulting: Builds a clear understanding of Intel strategy and operations across internal/external ecosystems and its impact on talent strategies. Collaborate across management levels by building trust and utilizing strong interpersonal communications skills, including listening, influencing, and encouraging evolution. Demonstrated business and customer service orientation with an HR lens.
Influence and Communication: Influence senior business and HR leaders to drive positive change in a large, global, corporate environment. Build credibility to influence and partner with functions across HR. Executive presence with demonstrated presentation/public speaking skills. Influence and coach leaders to drive higher engagement and performance.
Results-orientation: Time management, responsiveness to confront and solve problems, and ability to frequently reprioritize workload. Set and deliver on challenging goals and adapt to quickly changing circumstances. Help lead company-wide HR programs and initiatives. Experience applying HR Project Management and Change Management processes to plans and priorities. Speed and velocity to match that of the business environment.
Systems and Analytical Thinking: Connect seemingly disparate information and stitch it together in a coherent set of considerations and actions to be taken. Demonstrated capabilities in developing and leveraging HR data and metrics to guide HR solutions. Expertise in problem-solving and developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics.
HR and Industry acumen: HR subject matter knowledge in areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Management, Workforce Diversity, Strategic Workforce Planning, Compensation, and Succession Planning. Up to date knowledge of industry trends and best practices with a focus on emerging trends on talent development and the future of work. Collaborate with COEs and HRBPs to create and implement needed HR solutions. Employment law and policy acumen to problem solve and coach employees and managers.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following:
Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, or related field with 8+ years of related experience.
Master of Science degree, a Master of Arts degree, or an M.B.A. with 5+ years of related Business HR experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM certification
Experience working with international and/or culturally diverse teams
Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic organization
