What will you be doing:

As a Claims Examiner, you process and handle medical claims from several LOB’s for in-home care services such as DME, Home Health, and Pharmacy Infusion. Responsibilities include benefit and provider inquiries and configuration, conducting claims reviews to ensure cleanliness, claim resolution, calculating benefits, denials, adjustments, and auditing. The Claim Examiner serves as a liaison between our company and our patients and health plans.

What will you come with:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of healthcare billing and clam experience within Home Care Services preferred
• Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10
• Proficiency with Health plan benefits and provider configuration
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
• Experience with HRP (Health Rule Payor) highly desired
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• Medical Biller/Coder certification a plus

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
