Flow is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Fund Accountant to join our Accounting team. As a Senior Fund Accountant you will work with internal teams as well as clients on a number of key partnership accounting activities, including but not limited to capital calls, distributions, quarterly and annual reporting, external audits and general ledger management. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in partnership accounting in the Venture Capital or Private Equity industry. This position will work cross-functionally with fund accounting and fund operations teams. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily fund accounting functions
- Perform cash reconciliations for multiple entities
- Manage general ledger journal entries
- Preparation of capital calls, allocations and distributionsInterface with clients when needed
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements for multiple clients
- Assist in preparation of investor and accounting reports
- Assist in other external audit related preparation and requests
- Provide support to external auditors and tax providers
- Perform other essential duties as assigned
Abilities & Skills
- 2-4 years experience in partnership accounting in the Venture Capital or Private Equity industry
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- Knowledge of fund structures should include, Master/Feeder, separately managed accounts, and private equity
- Specific knowledge around SPVs is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in excel
- Quickbooks and other accounting software solutions involving journal entries is a plus
- Highly detail oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A desire to learn and take on increasingly new and challenging tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
