Job Purpose

We currently have an opening for a *Accountant* to join our team in Austin, Texas. We’re seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 3-years of experience individual in performing full set of account . Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for and manage the full spectrum of transactional accounting activities, including but not limited to cash reporting, sales invoicing, accounts receivables, payables, employee expense claims and reimbursement, fixed assets, month end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations to produce accurate management reports within igloocompany U.S.A. entity, ensuring completeness, timeliness and reliability
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements as well as managing audit schedules, when necessary
• Lead or participate in special projects, being a key contributor to a more efficient financial close, driving innovation and bringing best practices across areas within scope of role
• Work with business partners, coordinate and liaise with external parties such as 3PL, banking relationship manager, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
• Review and recommend process improvement areas
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Provide support as required for other daily accounting operations
• Perform any task/project as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely-related discipline, (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in performing full set of Accounts
• Strong technical accounting knowledge relating to U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously
• Positive working attitude and a desire to deliver quality work in a team collaborative environment
• Strong attention to detail, as well as being a problem solver who takes the initiative
• Must be responsive to the changing immediate demands of the business while maintaining focus on overall priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Preferably experienced in QBO accounting
• Knowledge of digital locks/access management solutions industry and SaaS/tech experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,241.00 – $60,000.00 per year
