The process operator is accountable for all operational tasks associated with the area of operation.
This is an entry level position with career advancement opportunities within, and external to, the facility.

Responsibilities • Supporting your team in making deliberate improvements in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as well as housekeeping performance.
• Ensuring 100% compliance of assigned EHS requirements, process safety, food safety, and quality standards.
• Executing required preventative, autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices.
• Safe completion of life critical activities in production areas including development and execution of lock, tag, try procedures (LTT).
• Identifying and implementing improvements in systems, processes, and personal development and as assigned by department and/or shift Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Ensuring all training requirements are met within the specified time frames and training other personnel as required by Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager.
• Adhering to General Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards and practices.
• Overseeing performance of assigned production area by reviewing records, logs, reports, and pursuing resolution activities as needed.
• Utilizing process operation knowledge and problem solving skills to meet or exceed process performance.
• Identifying problems proactively and communicate production issues to Shift Team Leader.
• Supporting shift team leader in effectively executing production schedule.
• Providing sift reporting on all required metrics.
• Initiating maintenance work requests and communicates maintenance work priorities.
• Responsible for training other building operators.
• Updating and following standard operating procedures for production areas.
• Monitoring and ensuring raw material and chemical inventories are properly updated.
Requirements • High School Diploma or High school equivalent (HSE) including GED and Maine HiSET
• Basic math skills
