IEM Looking for Talent Acquisition Support Specialist at Morrisville, NC  Full Time

Position Summary:

IEM is looking to hire a Full Time- Talent Acquisition Support Specialist to our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. Our TA Team is responsible for recruiting the best talent across the US- Mainland and Puerto Rico; in order to help us do that we are in search of a detail oriented, critical thinking, and flexible individual that can support our recruiting efforts.

Primary Location:

• Candidates can originate from anywhere in the United States, you will work remotely from home or personal office location
• All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate applicant interviews between the project teams and candidates.
• Keep Applicant Tracking System (ATS) updated at all times.
• Manage a portion of candidates onboarding process including but not limited to background and reference checks.
• Working knowledge of advanced sourcing skills, including Boolean string searches for obscure talent will come in handy as sourcing will be part of this role.
• Represent IEM, promoting its mission accomplishment of past and present, as well as its culture, to applicants.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency, be results driven and disciplined.
• Willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and demonstrate flexibility and resilience.
• Other duties may apply as the role expands.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Support Specialist)
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate work schedules.
• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent support tasks and prioritize tasks based on competing demands.
• Ability to source and create strong networks of local talent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• High level of skill in the following: verbal and written communications, listening, confidentiality, detail-orientation, organization, time management, and self-initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
• Experience developing candidate pipelines across multiple states
• Experience within the Emergency Management field
