IBI Group’s Intelligence practice works on unique and leading-edge transportation technology projects for agencies across North America. We are looking for great people with a keen interest in transportation and technology to join our Intelligent Transportation System and Tolling teams to assist public and private entities across North America plan, design, procure, deploy and utilize technologies and systems for application to tolling, traffic operations traveler information, transit and other transportation business functions. Examples of the types of projects that we typically work on include electronic payment systems for tolling and transit, ITS systems for incident detection and management, data analysis for performance monitoring and operational improvement, mobile apps for payment, planning and information dissemination.
Our client base is broad and located across the US. They range from transportation and transit agencies, toll facilities to DOTs, counties to privatized transportation operations. A hallmark of our work is that we have gained the long-term trust of our transit agency partners, maintaining long term relationships and being able to respond to whatever they needs. Some of these include: MDOT, VDOT, MassDOT, MDOT, DelDOT, WMATA, MARTA, San Francisco MTC, Las Vegas RTC, LA Metro, Portland TriMet, Sound Transit, Boston MBTA, Westchester County Beeline, Washington Metro, Tampa HART, Chicago RTA, Northern Virginia Transportation Commission (NVTC) and others.

Southfield has long been considered one of the best places to work in the metro area, with easy access to restaurants, shopping and residential life in the neighboring cities and suburbs.
