Humana Looking for Care Management Support Assistant 2 – Remote Florida at Tampa, FL Full Time

The Care Management Support Assistant 2 contributes to administration of care management. Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members’ needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members.

Responsibilities

The Care Management Support Assistant 2 contributes to administration of care management.

• Works directly with state agencies to monitor members eligibility
• Performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations.
• Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
• Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.
• Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.
• Schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Required Qualifications

• Must reside in Florida
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel
• 2 or more years of administrative support experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
• Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or Cable modem for a home office (Satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); recommended speed is 10Mx1M
• A dedicated home office space, with a locked door, lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
• ACHA Level II required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree
• Administrative support experience in a healthcare industry
• Knowledge of Medicare Medicaid guidelines
• Familiarity with care and well-being resources
• Bilingual
