About us

Horizons NYC at Explore Schools is a medium business in Brooklyn, NY. We are engaging, autonomous and our goal is to Horizons is a summer learning program on a mission to advance academic equity through reducing summer learning loss among under-served students in our communities. Our program delivers a project-based learning curriculum that is age-appropriate, hands-on, and fun, while also offering students an abundance of enrichment learning in the arts, sciences, and recreation. Horizons is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated educators to join our summer learning program team! Our teachers are a critical part of our academic program, and typically return each summer as mentors and leaders. We are excited to welcome the first cohort of teachers into this exciting pilot program to support our students!.

Our school is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Art Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position must have experience teaching art to young students, excellent classroom management skills and strong organizational talents. We’re looking for someone who can inspire creativity in our students and allow them to express themselves creatively through various art projects.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $50.00 – $75.00 per hour

Schedule:
