TESTING SPECIALIST
Horizon Industries Limited (HIL) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area. We are currently seeking a Testing Specialist for a part-time position remotely, supporting our client.
Job Description:
The Testing Specialist is responsible for evaluating and running diagnostic tests for system networks and applications to ensure stability and efficiency according to quality standards.
Other duties of the Testing Specialist may include:
- Provide software testing experience (performance and load testing)
- Analyzes internal security within systems
- Review test results and evaluates for conformance to design
- Provides actionable recommendations to improve performance
Required Skills / Experience:
- Five (5) years of relevant experience
- Experience in computer software development
- Must be capable of designing and executing IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Must be able to prepare test scripts and all required test documentation
- Must be able to design and prepare all needed test data
- Proficient with JMeter and/or Loadrunner testing within the Appian framework
- Must possess an active IT-II security clearance or have a current NACLC
- Must possess relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
