This role is working roughly 90% remote. Candidates for this role must be located in Arizona, or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
Job Summary
Supports the overall Compliance Program infrastructure. Supports overall program initiatives such as the creation, management and reporting of compliance/privacy education and training offerings; running data reports to monitor the statistical performance of the program and the organization’s compliance with key regulatory requirements; coordinate and maintain key software and information systems application that support ongoing compliance initiatives (e.g., conflict of interest disclosures, policy and procedure management systems, compliance matters tracking databases, compliance/privacy Intranet and Internet resource sites, privacy breach monitoring, sanction screening, etc.); support the Vice President, Chief Audit & Compliance Officer and other Compliance Officers in compliance/privacy investigations including obtaining supporting data, regulatory authorities, running reports, etc.; conduct special projects on specific compliance/privacy infrastructure or special risk areas as they arise.
- Coordinates system-wide Compliance Program support initiatives to ensure the effective operation of HonorHealth’s Compliance Program. This may include, but not be limited to, creation/revision of compliance/privacy related policies and procedures; supporting the Compliance Committee efforts and statistical analysis and data reports; assisting in the creation, monitoring and reporting of compliance/privacy auditing and monitoring programs; creation/revision of compliance education and training programs along with data reporting on completion rates; ongoing reporting assistance with reported compliance matters.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the VP, Chief Audit & Compliance Officer to support certain key compliance/privacy risks as they arise. This may include specialized education and training offerings, auditing and monitoring activities, research on creation of corrective action plans/processes, etc.
- Assist VP, Chief Audit & Compliance Officer and other Compliance Officers in conducting investigations pursuant to identified or reported compliance/privacy matters.
- Maintain key compliance/privacy information systems and underlying processes. This might include such activities as conflict of interest disclosures, policies and procedures management systems, proactive user access monitoring systems, contract management review processes, compliance matters tracking database, monthly sanction screening procedures, etc.
- Maintains competency and skills through research and study of industry periodicals, newsletters, journals; attends conferences locally and nationally as appropriate, participates in webinars, etc.
- Assists in the annual compliance risk assessment process.

Experience
2 years working in a compliance support function. Experience in a revenue cycle, coding, healthcare operations, risk management or legal role beneficial. Required
