HK Solutions Group Looking for Digital Marketing Intern at Des Moines, IA  Full Time

HK Solutions Group is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern for the 2023 academic year (including Summer & Fall). The position will be based in our Des Moines, IA office. The ideal candidate would be available to work 10-15 hours a week and would preferably be a sophomore or junior in college.

The Digital Marketing Intern is responsible for entry level marketing technology support to the Marketing Coordinator. You will interact with managers, directors, and cross-functional departments daily. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong attention to detail, a love for design, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This person should be consistently focused on improving HK’s marketing efforts to meet customer and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support social media platforms and digital marketing efforts.
• Assist with the development and implementation of social growth opportunities
• Monitor social media mentions and industry news.
• Assist in the creation and management of emails, graphics, copy, brochures, and other assets.
• Help compile reports and statistics for social media & digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
• Support marketing coordinator in organizing various projects
• Create and Maintain Monthly Company Newsletter
• Create and Maintain Company Digital Signage in each Office

You would be a great fit if you have the following…

• Current college student studying and/or pursuing a career in Social Media Management, Digital Marketing and/or Graphic Design
• Must have and maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.75+
• Educational focus in graphic design, digital marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
• Understanding of current and evolving social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, twitter, YouTube, etc.).
• Knowledge and understanding of analytics and measurement tools for websites and social media.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Driven and self-motivated
• Proficient with MS Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint
• Proficient with Canva, Photoshop, or InDesign
• Strong writing skills preferred
• A passion for marketing, specifically social media & tradeshow
• Ability to be a creative thinker as well as an active listener.
• Must be able to demonstrate personal integrity & honesty, as well as take responsibility
