Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience conducting training programs in health education, public health, health care, or a related field; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Experience providing production/backend support on Zoom or other online platforms. Experience with coordinating team projects. Experience working with young people.
The Health Program Education Coordinator is located in the Office of the Medical Director, HIV Educational Services and Materials Review and will be responsible for the coordination of health-provider educational activities, programs, and policies. Responsibilities for the Education Program Coordinator will include: coordinating the delivery of trainings by the New York State Prevention Training Center (NYS PTC)/Disease Intervention Training Center (DITC); coordinating the delivery of trainings, capacity building and technical assistance regarding young people and HIV, STI, viral hepatitis, LGBT health and drug user health; assisting in the development and dissemination of health education materials and/or activities for young people; utilizing education and educational outcomes to inform programming and policy; coordinating and/or supporting program evaluation and quality assurance activities. Other related duties as assigned.
