Hawkins County Schools Looking for NJROTC Instructor – Cherokee High School 2022-2023 at Rogersville, TN Full Time

SNSI OPENING IN EAST TN. Seeking a highly motivated certified Navy/Marine/Coast Guard Officer who is knowledgeable in all aspects of Navy JROTC. Cherokee High School is a well-established Distinguished Unit located in Rogersville, TN just outside the Tri-Cities region roughly, 50 miles NE of Knoxville, TN. Unit receives outstanding support from school administration, school board, and community.

Cherokee has a population of about 1098 students and an average Unit enrollment of 140 cadets. The unit is very active competing in marksmanship, academics, armed/unarmed drill, color guard, physical fitness events and community service projects. Unit has two classrooms, and office space for SNSI and NSI. A successful applicant must be willing to work after school, evenings, and weekends when necessary.
