Guhring, Inc. looking for Warehouse-Packer at Brookfield, WI  Full Time

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor the picker/packer will be reads orders, picks products off the shelf and puts them in a bin to match the order. Packaged products will be loaded on trucks and sent to the customer.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Operate SAP EWM System by utilizing scanner to verify customer orders and to maintain inventory items
• Pull, pack and ship customer orders for Standard Tool catalog items
• Package and label “Specials” tool orders, verify quantity and shipping information, band and transfer to packing line
• Verify counts and place incoming inventory items in proper storage locations
• Operate UPS shipping computer and scale to weigh and label sealed packages
• Place all outgoing packages into proper shipping container for pick up by contract carrier
• Daily cleaning of work area to maintain clean, orderly and safe

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk and count at the same time.
