Under the direction of the Plant / Facilities Engineering Director the Manufacturing / Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for technical support for both large and small-scale projects as well as providing engineering support to the maintenance department. This team member will lead capital expenditure projects from recommending alternatives to internal stakeholders in the concept design phase through production startup while achieving the both project budget and time deadlines. The team member will provide guidance to the maintenance team and support external vendors in troubleshooting difficulties and implement solutions by investigating problems, using some independent evaluation, selection, and application of engineering techniques and procedures.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION:
Associates degree or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in metalworking or machine trades. A bachelor’s degree is mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering preferred.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Possess thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS systems.
