Grayson’ Steak & Seafood Restaurant Looking for Restaurant Host or Hostess at Newnan, GA Full Time

We are a family owned fine dining Steak and Seafood Restaurant. We are looking for an outgoing individual , who loves people. Our host/hostess are the first and last people our guests encounter. A host/hostess must promptly welcome guests in. Have reservations already set with menus, and know what table they will seat next, to be sure to be ready for customers without reservations. You will also be responsible for answering the phones, listening to messages, replying to said messages, and logging any reservations or messages correctly. A host/hostess will also be responsible for the general cleanliness of the restaurant, including the bathrooms. A host performs many duties throughout the shift, including keeping management updated if any needs or concerns arise. As well as communicating with both the kitchen and the service staff. We also ask our host/hostess to be sure to say goodbye to our guests, asking them how their experience was or opening the door for them on their way out.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and drink menus
• Handle complaints or problems with a friendly attitude

• Excellent people skills with a positive attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• High school diploma is a plus but not required
