Good Egg Dining Group Looking for Social Media Specialist at Oklahoma City, OK Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist the Brand Manager in implementing social media strategies, managing branded online communities and cultivating new communities, and tracking and analyzing social media influence measurements. The Social Media Specialist will act as a liaison across the internet and between concepts, with special focus on A Good Egg Dining Group’s mission of EXTREME HOSPITALITY.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogue, and responding to feedback and questions where appropriate.
• Assist in building and executing social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
• Assist in creating editorial calendars and planning publication of content.
• Serve as the social media expert within the company, maintaining a cutting-edge understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics. Inspire and educate our teams!
• Create, curate, and manage timely content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
• Ensure proper online messaging, and relevancy and consistency of messages across multiple concepts and networks.
• Execute daily management of multiple social media channels, primarily Facebook and Instagram, across all concepts.
• Real-time monitoring of social media platforms, which includes but not limited to replying to inbound requests, questions, and comments.
• Responsible for capturing and responding to customer online reviews. Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly.
• Identify opportunities and threats in user generated content surrounding the business. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.

• Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media campaigns.
• Write blog posts, articles, newsletters and other communications materials where needed for community and inner-company communication.
• Generally assist in company recruiting efforts through networking, attending various meetings, conceiving and publishing relative content, and attending job fairs where needed.
• Build buzz and drive brand awareness of new restaurants prior to opening.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position is well suited for an individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to work with cross- functional teams, a knack for research, a sharp wit, and a willingness to work during non-standard business hours. Demonstrated use and knowledge of multiple social media platforms is a must. Prior experience in customer service, advertising, public relations or online marketing is preferred.
