GILE Companies Looking for Controller at Remote Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Controller to manage our accounting team and all facets of reporting, A/P, A/R, Payroll, and HR for our companies. This is a remote position. We run financials in both Accrual and Cash for tax purposes. This position would oversee all the accounting for our family of companies and report directly to the Founders. We are growing quickly and need someone who has impeccable attention to detail and follow-up. Part of the position will be to help create and enforce SOPs as we grow. You will need to both attend and present financials and KPIs at executive meetings via zoom.

Our current accounting staff includes 3 part-time and 1 full-time remote employee. These team members handle include P/R, A/R, Bank Reconciliations, Reporting (KPIs), and HR. We have just moved on to the Paylocity platform and are in the process of setting everything up. You will work very closely with the founders and executive teams as the company grows in order to help facilitate streamlined processes and ensure that all of our policies and procedures are followed. In addition, you will be helping with the development of reporting and ensuring all costs and allocations are correct across the companies.

Compensation:

$90,000 – $120,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of accounting team
• Oversight and participation of all processes, reporting, cash controls, A/R, A/P, reconciliations, Payroll, and HR
• All Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting issued on time and accurately
• Reviewing and issuing forecasts and cash flow forecasts
• Ensuring cash controls are being followed in practices
• Training and coaching of new and existing staff
• Streamlining current systems and creating new systems and SOPs as needed
• Manage costs – Including Insurance audits, WC audits, and ongoing expenses

Qualifications:

• Must have controller experience
• Must have excel expertise
• Must be able to learn new software and systems quickly
• Must have leadership experience
• Lending and insurance experience a plus
