Job Description
GESTRA Engineering, Inc. is a full service geotechnical engineering firm with offices in Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin. Our firm is seeking a Project Engineer with technical skills to work with our staff of geotechnical engineers performing engineering analyses, managing geotechnical engineering projects, and preparing and reviewing engineering reports and proposals.
On the Job
• Work is generally Mon-Fri between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
• Employee could be located in our Milwaukee or Madison office, although occasional daily travel between locations may be necessary.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a geotechnical engineer.
• Good driving record and valid WI driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment, non-DOT drug screening.
• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering
• Wisconsin PE
Preferences
• Experience to include geotechnical aspects of LRFD of bridges and retaining walls, slope stability analyses, building foundations/deep foundations, soil improvement, and familiarity with advanced geotechnical testing and geotechnical exploration methods.
• Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering
