Job Description
GeoConstructors Inc., is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Mechanic to join our team in Purcellville, Virginia. Successful candidates will be those who want to become a critical contributor in the ground improvement industry and want a long term career with a strong company.
Requirements Include:
- Experience with MIG/STICK welding; certification preferred
- Experience with machine work on a milling machine
- Heavy equipment mechanical skills
- Vehicle mechanical skills
- Experience with drilling and piling rigs
- Knowledge of and experience troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems on heavy equipment
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Willingness to travel for a few days at a time
- Willing to work longer hours if necessary
- Successful results of pre-employment testing (drugs, alcohol and criminal background)
- Authorization to work and remain legally in the United States
Applicants must be reliable, self-motivated, and have the ability and knowledge to perform typical equipment operator tasks. You must have attended or be willing to attend a safety course, possess good communication skills, and be able to maintain a safe work area.
