GEODIS Looking for Accounts Receivable Coordinator – Cash Applications at Brentwood, TN  Full Time

Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator – Cash Applications is responsible for performing the functions of accounts receivable in the cash application department.

Job Duties: –

• Enters deposit information into the accounting system

• Retrieves and organizes daily deposits from various banks and banking institutions

• Downloads and transfers AR files and completes intra-company write-offs and forwards information to the appropriate parties

• Handles discrepancies and issues with daily deposits

• Runs AR reports along with duties and functions related to cash application

• Other duties as required and assigned

  Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training

• PC proficiency with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions

Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
