Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator – Cash Applications is responsible for performing the functions of accounts receivable in the cash application department.
Job Duties: –
Enters deposit information into the accounting system
Retrieves and organizes daily deposits from various banks and banking institutions
Downloads and transfers AR files and completes intra-company write-offs and forwards information to the appropriate parties
Handles discrepancies and issues with daily deposits
Runs AR reports along with duties and functions related to cash application
Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Minimum 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training
PC proficiency with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
