Role Summary:
The person in this role will be responsible for wearing multiple hats, including AP/AR work, general staff accounting responsibilities, as well as handling other ad hoc requests.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze a high volume of journal entries. Maintain and balance accounts by allocating, verifying, and posting journal entries, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
Estimate, record, and analyze month-end accruals to expense and balance sheet accounts.
Support in continuously improving the Company’s accounting policies, procedures and internal controls and seek operational efficiencies.
Maintain key policies and procedures for your areas of responsibility.
Provide ongoing support and internal customer service to business partners.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong understanding of current GAAP standards.
Previous exposure to various types of accounting software (SAP,MAS 500, FRX, TM1)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumif etc.) and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required to develop collaborative working relationships across functional teams.
