Generon Looking for Process Application Engineer at Houston, TX Full Time

SUMMARY
GENERON is a leading company in air and process gas separations. It has numerous patents supporting its proprietary technologies.

GENERON is expanding its process gas engineering capabilities at its Houston campus. Process designs are developed in both the Houston and California locations. This position will report to the Houston Engineering Manager.

This position will support GENERON’S efforts in various applications. This is a great opportunity to work in a diverse field of both membrane and absorption technologies and is now applying its expertise in the area of Biogas applications.

The position will evaluate customer applications, work together with other engineering disciplines to develop the specific design that matches the customer’s application. This position will also work with the Engineering team to develop PFDs, P&IDs and related specific customer applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Read, understand, process specifications to select the appropriate gas separation technologies for the application.
• Performs process simulation for gas separation systems.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs based on simulations and customer specifications.
• Working with engineering and sales team to support the development of Technical Sales proposals.
• Attend meetings with Clients, Engineers and Designers.
• Work on multiple projects and multi-level tasks, where priorities may shift occasionally.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years work experience.

EDUCATION

• Accredited degree in Engineering – Process, Mechanical or Chemical preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
