OVERVIEW
As a Field Selling Assistant (FSA) supporting our Snacks business, you will be part of the high energy team responsible for helping deliver outstanding results at one of General Mills’ largest customers: Kroger.
In this fast-paced FSA position, you will play a key role on the team, with responsibility for the accurate creation and completion of Kroger contracts, systems management, and business reporting. You will work closely with our Kroger Snacks sales team to provide data and materials to support execution of our go-to-market plan. Kroger experience is preferred, but not a requirement.
Competitive candidates will demonstrate the ability to work independently, possess strong organizational and prioritization skills, excellent technical (Excel) skills, and have a strong analytical background. Competitive candidates will operate with a high sense of personal accountability, be comfortable asking questions, and work collaboratively with others.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Deliver Outstanding Results Through Superior Sales Team Support
- Ensure Kroger promotional contracts are completed in a timely and accurate manner, including deal entry as needed for promotions, new items, logistical changes, etc.
- Assist team with special pack creation and order management (APOs)
- Help create selling materials for customer sales and retail teams as needed
Work Collaboratively with a High Performing Team
- Work with a cross-functional team to identify, improve, and develop efficient processes
- Demonstrate a willingness to jump-in and help others, ask questions, challenge constructively, and bring new ideas forward
- Assist with trade and sales reporting, post audits, and other ad hoc requests as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience in any of the following: account management, trade funding, analytics, finance, sales, marketing, and/or category management, retail
- Project management experience/skills (attention to detail, follow through, communication, independent worker)
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PPT)
- Key leadership characteristics: integrity, operate with a growth mindset, collaborative, strong communicator, and learning agility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Intelligent, achievement oriented, and self-motivated, with the desire to learn and grow
- Kroger customer experience is preferred, but not a requirement
- Role is open to remote candidates; Cincinnati market is preferred, but not a requirement
- Computer literacy – MS Office
