Kubernetes Developer
The General Purpose Computing (GPC) Program develops advanced capabilities for integration into the TRIDENT and COLUMBIA Strategic Weapons Systems for the US Navy and UK Royal Navy. This is a close-knit team using innovative technologies to deliver the best product to the Navy to help protect our country. Our team works closely with the Navy and Industry partners to develop innovate capabilities to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
The Kubernetes Developer is responsible for the design and implementation of the common infrastructure that will support the applications to meet our customer’s exacting requirements. If you are looking for an empowered position where you can utilize your skills on an Agile/SAFe, DevOps, MBSE program that will challenge your technical and leadership skills to deliver complex solutions to difficult problems for our warfighters and to augment our national security, this position is for you.
As a Kubernetes Developer you will work closely with the Product Manager, Architects, and Product Owners to ensure alignment with the technical roadmap. You will apply a set of principles and practices to incorporate aspects of software, IT, and systems engineering and apply them to infrastructure and operations problems to create scalable and reliable systems. Utilizing your knowledge of Kubernetes you will design, develop, and integrate container orchestration solutions to support critical mission capabilities.

Target salary range: USD $102,500.00/Yr. – USD $113,700.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
