Summary of Position:
Under limited supervision, the Logistics Coordinator will perform a variety of activities on standard domestic movement of goods. They will monitor the quality, cost and efficiency of import raw goods. Coordinate all aspects of transportation with carriers. Review and approve import documentation. Ensure shipments have necessary documentation that is compliant within import laws. Provide project organization to both internal and external customer service. Support purchasing, sales and customer service in logistics for on-time and cost-effective product delivery

Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Safely & accurately ships/receives all orders.
2. Inventory transfers transactions physically and in SAP.
3. Ensures all work instructions on SAP activities pertaining to this position are current.
4. Accurately documents all material movements.
5. Ensures accuracy on BOL’s & all shipping/receiving documents on a daily basis.
6. Provides support to Customer Service & Production as liaison in satisfying customer’s orders.
7. Working with different freight companies ensuring we’re getting the best rates.
8. Ensure all the assets and supplies are used efficiently
9. Suggest solutions for improvement
10. Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
11. Maintain logistics documentation and generate routine and as requested reports to upper management
12. Plan the number of bins each field will need for harvest.
13. Manage internal Bin Program
14. Manage internal raw material transfers.
15. Be update on DOT regulations.
16. Collaborate with Farm division to address and resolve compost and garlic movement.
Qualifications:
1. 2 years of experience in Logistics required
2. High School degree preferred
3. Previous experience in inventory control and/or manufacturing operations
4. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
5. Skilled in PowerPoint, Outlook, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
6. Strong organization skills
7. Skilled in SAP
