Primary Responsibilities: Provide user-oriented technical support to a diverse audienceUpdate, maintain, repair classroom technology. Primary contact to triage, troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets at Georgia Elementary & Middle School as well as the District Office. Perform regular maintenance on server infrastructure including updates and backupsMass deploy new technology using standardized rollout proceduresMaintain annual software audit and licensing renewal needsDevelop and implement operating procedures for access to LAN shared filesResearch and recommend options for legacy technology replacementEmploy accepted best practice security proceduresOther projects and tasks as determined by Department needsMaintain documentation of network information Technical Skills: 3+ years in Help Desk environment3+ years intermediate experience of Windows Server 2003, 2008 including Group Policy, GPO relationships, backup and restorationWorking knowledge of GAFE2+ years of Microsoft Office product support2+ years iOS, Windows 10, MDM deploymentsFamiliarity with basic networking technologies, protocols and web filtering as applied within an education institutionAbility to analyze and repair software/hardware problems on server and client machinesAbility to work cooperatively with school administrators and staffAbility to organize work time efficiently and to work independently”
